Learn or Run #PuzzleChallengeDay2

How do you handle a setback? Do you rise and learn from it or you just throw in the towel and walk away?

After my small accident, i decided i wont give up so easily so i got a hard board from IKEA to create a firm foundation for my puzzle.

I know it means starting over but now i know for sure it will not be moved and the determination to get it done is up there

Philippians 4:13

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

How firm is your foundation #PuzzleChallengeDay1

A few weeks ago i started up on a puzzle that had not been touched for over a year. I felt it was a good way to spend my time after my rather intense days and along the way i learnt some valuable lessons

Are you standing on solid ground?

The first five days were quite promising but on the fifth day someone sat on the old couch (which had not been in use for a very long time) and everything fell apart.

It was rather frustrating considering the progress i had made but it taught me that no matter the effort we put to accomplish certain goals, if the foundation is poor all our efforts are in vain.

Mathew 7:24-27

Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.
25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.

26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”

What is your name?

It is sometimes hard to see past the labels people put besides our names (lazy, clumsy, under achiever, ugly….)

Each one of us is awesomely beautiful and gifted. If only we could take off time and reflect on the things we can do instead of investing so much energy in the things that we cannot.

Psalms 139:13-14
“For You formed my innermost parts; You knit me [together] in my mother’s womb.

14 I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;Wonderful are Your works,And my soul knows it very well.”

Our day to day life reflects who we believe we are.

Happy is my name
Brilliant is my name
Kind is my name
Achiever is my name…..

I will not stop at claiming my identity, i will purpose to work towards achieving it daily for example by giving a helping hand where needed, putting extra hours towards improving my skills, challengr myself to learn something new.

What is your name?
